Juliaane is expressive yet down to earth and she knows how to show you a good time to a productive and fun workout. Julianne’s choice of dance moves and music is wonderfully coordinated with tempo building up from in a smooth flow from start to finish. I really enjoyed sweating buckets doing the cha-cha and jive and feeling the leg and hip areas getting tone with each twist and turn.
This video is top-notch in terms of delivering cardio punch and entertainment while working out to people of all level but may be a little challenging for dance beginners (albeit still fun). If you are a beginner to dance moves, you will still be able to enjoy Cardio Ballroom.
Julianne does a fantastic job breaking dance moves down and repeats moves so you get a chance to get the moves right. I recommend going through her 12 minute “Private Lesson” section in the dvd to help you get a grasp on the basic footwork before plunging into the core workout routine.
When I felt I wasn’t getting things right, I went back to the lesson and sure enough it made a difference when I went through the routine again.
Overall, Cardio Ballroom is a fantastic dance workout video that is challenging enough for advanced dancers and considerate and fun enough for the absolute beginner to appreciate ballroom dancing. The three 48 minute dance routines will get you grooving and moving your body to toned perfection in no time. I love the after dance glow that it gives me too.
Fans of Julianne’s Dancing with the Stars will love this video if they want a dance workout video minus the dance partner. Julianne’s beautiful personality and body will also motivate you to keep on dancing and improving yourself too. Love!
